Shipping Policy

AffiGEN ships products worldwide to research institutions, universities, and laboratories. We partner with reputable global carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery of all orders, regardless of destination.

Order processing times vary based on product type:

• In-Stock Products: Orders are processed within 24-48 business hours after payment confirmation.
• Made-to-Order Products: Processing typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on complexity.
• Custom Formulations: Processing times will be provided at the time of order based on specific requirements.

All orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will begin processing the following business day.

AffiGEN offers several shipping methods to accommodate different needs:

• Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days (domestic), 7-14 business days (international)
• Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days (domestic), 3-5 business days (international)
• Priority Shipping: 1-2 business days (domestic), 2-3 business days (international)
• Same-Day Shipping: Available for select locations on orders placed before 10:00 AM local time

Shipping method availability may vary based on destination and product type. Available options will be displayed during checkout.

AffiGEN employs specialized packaging and shipping protocols for temperature-sensitive materials:

• Cold Chain Shipping: Products requiring refrigeration are shipped with appropriate cooling materials and temperature monitoring.
• Frozen Shipments: Products requiring freezing temperatures are shipped on dry ice with insulated packaging.
• Ambient Temperature: Products stable at room temperature are shipped with appropriate protection from temperature extremes.

Temperature-sensitive shipments are carefully planned to minimize transit time and avoid weekend deliveries when possible.

Some research products may be classified as hazardous materials under shipping regulations. For these products:

• Shipping is conducted in full compliance with IATA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
• Additional documentation and special handling fees may apply.
• Certain shipping methods or carriers may not be available.
• Delivery to some locations may be restricted by law.

Our customer service team will provide guidance on hazardous material shipping requirements at the time of order.

For international shipments, please note:

• The recipient is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.
• AffiGEN provides all necessary commercial invoices and shipping documentation.
• Some products may require special permits or licenses for international shipping.
• Delivery times may be extended due to customs processing.
• Tracking information may be limited once a package enters customs.

We recommend consulting with your institution's import department before placing international orders to ensure compliance with local regulations.

All shipments include tracking information that will be provided via email once your order ships. You can also view tracking information by logging into your AffiGEN account and viewing your order history.

For temperature-sensitive or high-value shipments, we offer enhanced tracking with real-time updates and temperature monitoring where available.

All shipments require signature confirmation upon delivery to ensure they reach the intended recipient. For institutional customers, packages will be delivered to your organization's designated receiving department unless alternative arrangements are made in advance.

If no one is available to sign for a delivery, the carrier will leave a notice and attempt delivery again on the next business day. After multiple failed delivery attempts, the package may be returned to AffiGEN.

While we strive to meet all estimated delivery dates, occasionally delays occur due to:

• Severe weather conditions
• Customs processing for international shipments
• Carrier service disruptions
• Natural disasters or other force majeure events

AffiGEN will communicate any known shipping delays and work with customers to find alternative solutions when possible.

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

• Package weight and dimensions
• Shipping destination
• Selected shipping method
• Special handling requirements (temperature control, hazardous materials, etc.)

Exact shipping costs will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process before payment is finalized.
